From the moment visitors enter this cinema they feel themselves to be the centre of attention. They are welcomed by powerful spotlights just like at a shooting and straight away feel as if they are part of a movie themselves. Lazy tongs of varying lengths hang like chandeliers from the ceiling and large LCD screens show trailers of the films currently running. The combination of dark and metallic materials stresses the technical aspect of the cinema, thus awaking the interest of particularly the male visitors.
심사평
Simple means were used in the design of the Hankou City Plaza International Cinema in order to create a setting which enables visitors to enter the world of cinema even before the actual film starts.
