HUA MIAN

The packaging of HUA MIAN ready-to-cook noodles represents Chinese culture. Inspired by famous poems and their poetic moods, the series features ink drawings corresponding to different regional noodle specialities. The packages are endowed with cultural values by echoing landscape illustrations, flavour associations and ancient poems. To manifest the heritage of freehand brushwork, which is one aspect of Chinese ink paintings, the scenes on the packages leave considerable blank space, which, by mixing reality and imagination, adds beauty to the whole scene and inspires free imagination.
