Most pressure cookers on the consumer market are perceived as dangerous, complex and unappealing for young amateur cooks. Joy makes pressure cooking a breeze every day. The simple yet highly functional structure allows users to gently lock the lid in two different positions: low-pressure cooking and conventional cooking. The soft and fresh outlook of the product defies the traditional paradigm of bulky and clunky pressure cookers, hence looking more inviting to the user. In the low-pressure cooking mode, the lid is sealed and steam is able to build up to 5.5psi, enabling faster and healthier cooking with richer flavours. The status of the cooking can be seen through the glass lid and the lid can be opened any time to control the cooking without worrying about releasing steam. In the conventional cooking mode, straining holes are exposed along the spout of the pot so that steam does not build up in the pot. This feature broadens the usage scenarios for Joy, making it a true pot for everyday use. Additionally, due to the locking mechanism on the lid, users will be able to safely and comfortably strain the water from the pot without having to hold the lid in place.
