The key issue with dog bite accidents is that they are unpredictable and happen so quickly. Joyda addresses the demand for more humane and effective muzzles by incorporating smart technology and activity sensor. Its muzzle design hits four main considerations: to reduce the discomfort and frustration caused to a muzzled-up dog; allow the owner to react and take control of the situation immediately; create a more pleasant and athletic image compared to existing muzzles; and lastly, employ additional sensors that can be easily detached from the collar. The muzzle’s multiple layers of wire around the mouth of a dog are usually loose under normal circumstances. If the sensor on the neckline clip detects a potential attack, it immediately signals for the tightening of the wires to the motor in the muzzle, thus closing the mouth. The clip-type sensor with gyroscopes is mounted on the neckline, allowing the algorithm to track the dog’s psychological changes based on heart rate and activity measurements.
