KEEPY is a compact identification tag that can easily be attached to mobile objects, pet collars or people. Each KEEPY has a unique QR code engraved on its surface using laser marking technology. This leads to a website where the owner’s contact information is stored. In this way, relatives of missing people or owners of lost objects and animals can quickly be identified and contacted. “KEEPY is based on an impressively simple idea,” said the jury. “A product reduced to the essentials is combined here in a coherent way with uncomplicated use for users and finders alike.”
