Due to the look and feel of its cover as well as its bookmark ribbon, the calendar/diary by the name of KlangBilder (Sound Pictures) looks like a conventional notebook at first glance. In the inside, the seven-year calendar connects images of a master violin-maker with space for the user’s thoughts and notes. The texts are supplemented by 52 black-and-white photographs that capture, with great attention to detail, the construction of a violin in the workshop, but also the author’s art of living and passion.
