Desk and Reading Lamp

Leda

Due to its swan neck, the name of the Leda desk and reading lamp is inspired by Greek mythology: Zeus approached the beautiful Leda in the shape of a swan. The lamp unites state-of-the-art LED technology with the centuries-old handicraft of glass-making. Although the whole lamp is made of transparent glass, it is hard to make out what is glowing in this lamp. A high-quality LED module is hidden under the lamp’s base and the light is directed fibre-optically through the lamp’s swanlike neck.

The lamp tells a story and gives only a clue as to where the illuminant is hidden, which lends it a fascinating and mysterious character.
