Let’s Be Gentle

The drama “Let’s Be Gentle” is inspired by and is primarily based on emotions. In three minutes, the short film tells of a daughter whose abusive father is returning from prison and her mother who is trying to defend her. The director’s aim was to create a kind of “visual moment” which invites the viewers to observe in order to address their imagination. This cinematic moment is not intended to give easy answers. Instead, it aims at triggering conversations, discussions, maybe even debates about the topic the film hints at.
