Characteristic for the LG Signature Refrigerator is its “Magic Space”, a transparent mini-fridge in the refrigerator. The light is switched on by lightly knocking on the glass door (“KnockOn” function) – the user can look into the refrigerator without the need to open the door, thus saving energy. A further practical function is that a sensor on the bottom of the appliance makes it possible to open the appliance without using the hands.
