Under the claim “Your room everywhere”, the German hotel chain redesigned its existing Motel One app to offer a context-sensitive dashboard which provides a personalised travel experience. Users can explore hotels through full-frame images and have direct access to reservations or weather information at the destination. They can view directions or a map showing places of interest. Intended as a user-centric service, the online platform displays everything at a glance and enables users to book with just one tap. A newly developed design language reinterprets the corporate design while reflecting the brand signature.
