The challenge for jewellery manufacturer Niessing’s website was to develop an impressive and striking online presentation for jewellery. Displayed in full-size resolution, the jewellery moves to the fore, inviting the user to a visual tour. To display the innovative and modern characteristics of the products, mainly simple shapes and matte surfaces as well as muted colour schemes are used. The visitor navigates with ease through the product portfolio, which was implemented following the current HTML 5 standard and adjusts to any output device. The contents are managed through a specifically designed interface and imported from an existing product database.
