OXO Tot Sprout Chair

Small children want to feel part of the family at all times. However, at mealtimes this can be a challenge because children are not always fully attentive at the table; sometimes they feel disadvantaged and they still have to learn how to properly handle eating meals. The Tot Sprout Chair was developed particularly for this situation. Following a design approach that responds to the needs of children and parents alike, this chair facilitates family table harmony and convenience. The Tot Sprout Chair features a functional and ergonomically well-thought-out design, allowing children to sit comfortably at the family table, even for an extended period. The chair’s seat, back and cushions are ergonomically contoured for comfortable upright sitting, and a five-point harness secures the child safely in the seat. The coherent design of the chair is complemented by a height-adjustable footrest to support the child’s feet, as well as a removable tray so that the chair can be pulled up to the table. Embodying a highly sophisticated “evolutionary” design, the chair can grow as the child grows. Suitable for children from six months to five years old, the chair can be easily adjusted, without requiring any tools, to a kid’s age and size. Showcasing a well-balanced language of form paired with a highly child-oriented functional design, this chair aims to enhance the quality of life of both kids and parents.
