The aesthetically packed spices by Pfeffersack & Soehne achieve perfect flavour preservation. Hand-made ceramic pots from the Westerwald protect the spices from light and provide a favourable climate. Portuguese cork oak gives the container an airtight seal when closed. The discreet design has a timeless appeal, yet is humorously reminiscent of the old days, when Hanseatic spice traders were mocked “Pfeffersaecke” – (money)pepper bags. From filling to labelling and distribution, every stage of the production process is carried out with the care of an artisan manufacturer.
