Pingtung Martial Arts Hall

The corporate design for this contemporary museum was developed to create an easily recognisable identity for targeting a huge audience in Asia. The logo comprises both the Mandarin character for martial arts and an abstract illustration of the museum’s distinctively curved roof. In addition, a flexible system of patterns was developed using the building’s architectural details as inspiration. The design focuses on appreciating the architectural appearance and showing how it holds the essence of artmaking. This approach allowed the design to be applied broadly across other media for the purpose attracting more online followers and museum visitors.
