The R1B1 and R1B2 cordless riveters operate without air pressure, thus using less electricity and emitting fewer greenhouse gases. The primary focus of the motor design was on optimising weight balance. The ergonomically shaped handle made of non-slip rubber enables fatigue-free work that requires less effort. A safety mechanism prevents operation when the spent mandrel container has been removed. The LED light at the tip of the device strongly heightens visibility of the pre-drilled holes for the rivets.
