With its minimalist contours, this rain gauge has the appearance of a sculpture. Yet the utility value of the frost-resistant garden utensil is of a practical nature: it shows how much precipitation has fallen. The level is easily read through a lateral slit on the outer holder, which is fashioned from white-painted metal. The inner rain collector of transparent plastic can be easily removed using the small rod and emptied.
