Squaring the twin aims of enjoyment and sustainability has become a major challenge. Raindance Alive is a shower system with a timeless design that combines outstanding comfort with water-saving technologies. At its core is an innovative nozzle system that makes every single droplet count. The 300 mm overhead shower comes with two spray modes: RainAir produces soft, oxygen-enriched pearls of water while PowderRain transforms water into a fine mist – at an economical 12 litres per minute, which can be lowered even further to eight or six litres if desired. A hand shower equipped with a massage jet for targeted relaxation completes the resource-efficient system. In its design, Raindance Alive marries clean, architectural lines with soft contours inspired by the shape of the human body. Thermostat and fixtures are characterised by their smooth surfaces and precise edges, creating a contrast with the textured, round shape of the shower heads. The collection also offers an array of sophisticated functional and engaging sensory details. The spray jets are discreetly concealed behind a closed mesh surface made from anodised aluminium. The cover can be removed without tools and is easy to clean while the flat design of the surface-mounted thermostat ensures great freedom of movement. Spray settings can be started, stopped or changed effortlessly via large metal buttons and the textile-like hose of the hand shower gives bathrooms a warm, haptic quality. Available in two design styles and six different surface finishes, the collection harmoniously integrates into a wide range of interior design concepts. Durable, recyclable materials further help to reduce the range’s environmental footprint, a concept that also made an impression on the jury. “In Raindance Alive, form and function as well as sustainability and comfort come together in a remarkable symbiosis.
