Reform and Opening up

뒤로 다운로드

The permanent exhibition “The Memory of the City” in Shanghai’s new municipal archive depicts the development of Shanghai from 1843 to the present day over 1,000 sqm. A key element of the exhibition is a dynamically sweeping wall, entitled “Reform and Opening up”, with 248 photos taken between 1969 and 2009. Every image was fixed on acrylic glass using UV printing and labelled with the help of laser printing. An integrated LED strip makes it easy to view the photographs and read the corresponding texts. As the wall holding the acrylic-glass panels is curved and offset, it takes up very little space.
