Electronic Point of Sale Terminal

SANGO

Sango is an electronic point of sale (EPOS) terminal that frees up the space beneath the touchscreen. The monitor is suspended from a support arm that also houses the CPU. This has been achieved by using a monitor stand fashioned only from die-cast aluminium based on the principle of an exoskeleton. Partly concealed, the stand is clad with an interchangeable coloured polycarbonate panel available in seven colours.

The exposed stand contributes to the visual effect of the monitor hovering in mid-air, while also turning this point of sale terminal into a sculptural object.
