Chef’s Knife Series

Seki Magoroku Composite

The blades of this eight-piece knife series are composed of two different types of steel: one is the high-gloss polished cutting edge made of extremely sharp VG-Max steel and a satinised back of SUS420J2 steel. The types of steel are developed from aircraft construction technology and are bonded using a special copper brazing technique. The fine bonding line thus created remains as a decorative design feature.

The interaction of shiny cutting edge and satinised back is not only functional, it moreover provides an exciting visual contrast.
