The SoL EMS system is focused on improving the communication pathways between dispatch, service provider and medical centres to minimise human error, and on reducing response times. It utilises 5G technology paired with refinements on GPS and traffic mitigation systems. Thus, traffic can be directed to clear the quickest path for an ambulance. The system features 360-degree video communication ap-pliances designed to keep the EMTs’ hands free whilst interacting with patients. Furthermore, it sends information to the medical centre the ambulance is travelling to, allowing them to take preparatory steps.
