SonixTablet

The portable SonixTablet ultrasound imaging system is one of the first systems in its class to be entirely operated by touchscreen. It is designed to be easy to use for health-care professionals with little ultrasound experience, since it does not presuppose familiarity with a wide range of buttons and switches. The touchscreen operation may be customised to display only the most important functions. The device can be mounted to the wall, the ceiling or a mobile cart.

This ultrasound system impressed the jury with its large-scale touchscreen and its small housing, which offers very little surface area for germ contamination.
