Binoculars are always practical accessories on nature excursions, but also in the theatre or at sporting events. Generally, however, the more powerful models tend to be bulkier and heavier. The STABILIZED 10x25 S and STABILIZED 12x25 S binoculars address this problem by focusing on a consistent combination of comfort and performance. Both models have a very compact, lightweight body that doesn’t cause fatigue when held for long periods of time. Elastomer is used for the parts that are gripped to ensure a secure hold, and the controls have been designed so that the fingers automatically slide into the correct position, guaranteeing effective operation even in poor visibility conditions or at night. Portability is also factored into the design: both models are equipped with hinges for foldability and convenient, space-saving storage. The controls are secured to prevent the binoculars from being accidentally switched on when carried in a backpack. At the same time, the operating elements are arranged to be easily located by the user, even when they are looking through the binoculars. After 60 minutes, an automatic power switch-off function turns the binoculars off to conserve the life of the AA-size batteries. These binoculars provide around 12 hours of continuous operation. In addition to ease of use, the viewing experience itself is what makes the binoculars so special. STABILIZED 10x25 S and STABILIZED 12x25 S offer a clear field of view that is generally only found in larger devices. The STABILIZED vibration isolation function significantly reduces image blurring caused by hand movements, thus eliminating a disadvantage frequently associated with small-aperture binoculars used without a tripod. This special feature won over the jury, as did the elegant, straightforward shaping and the reliability that both the product and its design convey.
