“With up to 6.5 kg of thrust, the Subnado Underwater Scooter turns underwater activities, such as diving, swimming and snorkelling, into fun experiences,” said the jury. Made from an anodised aluminium alloy, this compact and tubular vehicle not only is robust, but also weighs a mere 1.4 kg. The built-in lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 98 Wh. An intuitive trigger button is used for both controlling the thrust levels and switching the scooter on and off. The power pack can be quickly and easily attached to the user’s body or diving equipment, leaving their hands free during the dive.
