Swatch Art Peace Hotel

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel gives artists a chance to live and work in Shanghai, China, for a time. The related website was created as application platform where artists apply online. It also includes a virtual museum in which users can discover all the artists in residence, their artworks called “Traces” via an explorative navigation. Besides presenting the history and concept of the hotel, the website provides information about exhibitions and events. Its design is based on the typical straightforward Swiss look and feel, with fonts by Swiss typographers and the colour red ideally linking the brand to Switzerland and China.
