In times of information overload and questionable sources, the tagesschau app was developed as a product that delivers all relevant information in high quality and a clearly presented way. Personalised news from a certain region is accompanied by top content in a story format, as horizontal and vertical videos. Users can access more in-depth information if something particularly interests them. Offering intuitive navigation, the app is able to connect with other devices via AirPlay and Chromecast, and also features a dark mode to benefit users’ eyes and batteries.
