Taiwan Shake up

Electric Taiwanese stage trucks are part of traditional Taiwanese life. While older people think of this culture as an expression of respect and appreciation towards God, today it is often perceived only as part of a subculture, associated with striptease dancers and the Mafia. This publication aims to counteract this perception and to point out their value. The design idea is that the effects of a pop-up book resemble the construction of a stage truck. The colours are, by analogy with the original, vivid and bright. Instead of words, it uses familiar graphics and symbols.
