Telling the stories of the I Ching
Using a simple yet vivid imagery, this project introduces ten symbolic animals from an ancient Chinese divination text, the I Ching. The purpose of the creative visualisation is to make the traditional concepts accessible to a contemporary audience. The black-and-white pictures stand out by an unusually relaxed approach to reading the I Ching. The special publication is designed to be used for a simple divination game. Colour-coded fortune scrolls provide the necessary guidance, allowing even beginners to start divination without further assistance.
