The Stories of Ornaments

“The Stories of Ornaments” is a concept derived from the costume patterns of minority ethnic groups in southeast China. Garments with exquisite embroidery and ancient ornaments are the most well-known features of the four groups: Yao, Miao, Dong and Zhuang. Based on the ancient ornaments, legends and spiritual ideologies of these groups, the poster design comprises four visuals expressing the beliefs, values and cultures of the ethnic groups, as well as representing “Well-Being”, “Love”, “Opulence” and “Blessing” respectively.
