The Tree Remembers is a biodegradable urn. Ashes may be laid to rest in it, but it also gives rise to new life in the form of a tree or bush or other plant. The urn is made of cardboard fibre and cellulose. It can be folded flat, which makes transport easy and inexpensive. When it is unfolded, two chambers appear. One is for the ashes and remains sealed, the other can be filled with seeds or plants, which, over time, grow and serve as a natural memorial.

The eternal cycle of nature was the inspiration for the design of this urn. The Tree Remembers thus combines practical and environmentally friendly qualities.
