UNSEEN

The broadcaster Deutsche Welle conceived a five-part documentary series especially for the Asian streaming market to draw attention to environmental hazards. With the documentary, the broadcaster addresses one of its core issues in one of its core target groups, namely the environment and sustainability in the lives of young, urban Asians. Problems such as air pollution or rising sea levels become visible through the depiction of “unseen” beasts. Often integrated only in the background of the video footage, but nevertheless massive and tangible, they expand the stories of the protagonists from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan.
