Visualisation of the German Federal Budget

The German federal budget involves an enormous amount of money – over 300 billion euros. The budget plan covers more than 2,700 pages. In collaboration with the Bundesministerium der Finanzen (German Federal Ministry of Finance), Pixelpark has succeeded in making this data volume accessible to everyone. All revenue and expenditure can now be found in an easily accessible data visualisation that can also be viewed on smartphones and tablets. This makes the budget understandable – even for non-specialists.
