The design concept for Xiaohutuxian Liquor is inspired by the symbolism of auspicious beasts that have carried the Chinese people’s yearning for a better life since 5,000 years ago. The illustrations centre on the “beast” of Shanhaiching as the creative carrier and are skilfully combined with Chinese characters. In the sense of a customised concept, the entire packaging encourages more interaction between the product and the consumers by projecting a sense of ceremony into their lives. While the design showcases the flavour of Eastern culture, it reflects the Chinese people’s good wishes for life.
