Innovation in the name of sustainability

Students at the College of Design and Innovation (D&I) at Tongji University are prepared for working life with interdisciplinary training and a global approach. A strong focus is placed on sustainable design, human-centric innovation as well as the integration of digital technologies. State-of-the-art facilities in the industry, environment, media and communication design degree courses are provided to deliver on this aim. In addition, international exchange schemes as well as cooperation projects with industry and academic institutions foster creativity and instil practical skills.

Hou Ying’s Lecture at Tongji Advanced Forum

Das typographische Plakat kündigt den Vortrag der Designerin Hou Ying zum Thema „The Evolution of a Designer“ an. Hierfür wurde ein Acrylbehälter in Form ihres Namens hergestellt und mit Hefeteig befüllt. Durch die Fermentierung veränderte sich der Teig und damit auch das Plakat.

100 Best Chinese Posters 2024

Für das Ausstellungsplakat setzten die Designer das chinesische Zeichen für 100 in Form von drei Aquarien um, in denen 100 Fische schwammen. Die Postervarianten entstanden durch deren ständige Bewegung, die fotografisch festgehalten wurde.
