Dr. Luisa Bocchietto
Luisa Bocchietto, architect and designer, graduated from the Milan Polytechnic in 1985. Since then, she has worked as a freelancer undertaking projects for local development, building renovations and urban planning.
As a visiting professor, she teaches at universities and design schools, she takes part in design conferences and international juries, publishes articles and organises exhibitions on architecture and design. Over the years, her numerous projects aimed at supporting the spread of design quality.
Luisa Bocchietto is a member of the Italian Design Council at the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, the Polidesign Consortium of the Milan Polytechnic, the CIDIC Italo-Chinese Council for Design and Innovation and the CNAC National Anti-Counterfeiting Council at the Ministry of Economic Development. From 2008 until 2014, she was National President of the ADI (Association for Industrial Design). Currently, she is President of the World Design Organization (formerly Icsid) for the period from 2017 to 2019.
