After a stay in Paris in 1996, Saskia Diez began training in Germany as a goldsmith which she completed in 2000 as the local state winner. In 2001, she began studying industrial design, but at the same time worked for Christian Haas, where she designed lighting, china or paper products, as well as for Rosenthal and Konstantin Grcic. She started working under her own name in 2005 and, amongst others, designed trade fair stands for different companies before returning to jewellery work. In 2007/08, she set up her own label. Her aim was to explore the very notion of jewellery from invisible jewellery (perfume) to new ways of wearing jewellery, the use of new materials – also for handbags, sunglasses, nail varnish, etc.
Saskia Diez works together with designers, companies, brands and artists including Arita Porzellan, e15, Pan and the Dreams, Uslu Airlines, Netaporter, Bevza, Kismet, Geza Schön, Mirko Borsche, Gym Yilmaz, Hermès, Viu, Stählemühle and the Julia Stoschek Collection.
