An Apple a Day Calendar 2017

Back

The idea for the “An Apple a Day Calendar 2017” took shape in the dappled shade of an orchard ready for harvest. It features a selection of the most beautiful renderings of old apple varieties, selected from 700 images found in libraries. The contemplation of apples with twigs led to the inspiration of a second perforation on the calendar pages. The calendar can be neatly torn off, which realises the idea of “preserving” the visual apple collection for perpetuity. The calendar is packed in a small, specially made fruit crate.
