This video for the insurance company AXA seeks to enlighten viewers about the global problem of using a smartphone while driving a car and the related perils. According to statistics, one in four car accidents is caused by cell phone use while driving. The original setting of this video shows a nun kneeling in front of candles in an otherwise dark church, with a solemn “Alleluia” intoned in the background. But instead of praying, the nun is actually texting on her smartphone. The film ends abruptly with the succinct message: “Do not text and drive.”
