Kooksoondang, a leading producer of traditional Korean liquors, has launched Bon Cho as a mass luxury product for traditional holidays only. Aside from the label design on the bottle, which depicts a rich and full flavour as well as scent, the packaging design illustrates the dispersion of the flavour and scent against a clean white background. The black on the sides and bottom keeps the eye focused on the message on top, thereby completing the stylish and upmarket quality of the Boncho gift sets. Thus, a new interpretation of the stereotypical image of traditional liquor has been achieved in a contemporary way.
