Book Monster is a buy-and-sell service for used books, CDs and DVDs that operates both online through a website and offline in real bricks-and-mortar stores. The brand design revolves around a one-eyed monster which ensures a high level of consistency and recognition. Depending on the situation and task to fulfil, the friendly monster takes on various shapes and forms, which turns the selling and buying experience into an amusing adventure, based on the concept “Surprising Discovery”. Yet throughout, the monster remains a unique icon, given its one round eye and its striking yellow colour.
