The Bundesdruckerei (German federal printing office), located in Berlin, can look back on a history of 250 years which has always been and still remains closely linked to German history. On the occasion of this anniversary, for the first time an overall presentation of the Bundesdruckerei has been published. The chronicle is divided into two parts. The first deals with the evolution of the house from 1763 until 2004. The second describes the most relevant milestones in the last ten years. The design of the book reflects this structuring of content. Aside from the written information, the first section contains numerous historic illustrations and information boxes, while the second one has full-page pictures accompanied by short explanatory texts.
