Burger King Halloween 2016 – Angriest Whopper

The brand Burger King is well known for its sociability and sense of humour. For a 2016 limited edition launch, Burger King adapted the original Angry Whopper to create the ultimate Angriest Whopper. Its strikingly red packaging communicates the hot spicy flavour through the shape of the jalapeños, which double as angry, demonic eyes. For Halloween 2016, Burger King rewarded their customers with the Halloween Whopper sandwich featuring a black bun. Since the packaging to accompany the Halloween range needed to celebrate this festive day as well as be fun and engaging for the target group, skeleton illustrations were chosen.
