The annual report of the National Association of German Cooperative Banks (BVR) provides information about the business performance of the 1,021 (as of 2015) financially independent local cooperative banks in Germany. The design approach had to reflect not only the demands of the modern association, but also its profile and position as an umbrella organisation. The content of the report was visualised in both the print and online versions to eliminate the need for “external” design means. Particular attention was paid to a condensed arrangement of the key figures and content.
