CAN-Q is an image system for the analysis of biological cells. It is based on an innovative measuring approach in order to make cellular changes not optically but electronically visible. The cells grow on a silicon chip, which detects the electrical signals of the cellular changes. The signals are then processed and displayed as images reminiscent of microscopy. The main design focus has been placed on achieving ease of use and a compact form.
