“Fun” was one of two TV commercials created to launch the new Chevrolet Spark across Europe. In order to capture the European way of looking at things and to turn Chevrolet into an emotional experience for consumers, this new brand communication needed to be highly creative. On a basic level, the commercial is simply a demonstration of the Spark’s five seats, while on another it illustrates the emotional effect that additional features can have on the consumer. Being that the European nature of the launch prohibited the use of specific spoken language, this commercial nevertheless managed to turn this limitation into a positive feature.
