“Klarheit” (Clarity), the all encompassing theme of METRO GROUP’s annual report 2015/2016, sums up what is important for the group in the face of its planned division into two independent companies. Its design reveals possible facets of the topic using portraits of extraordinary people who are united by one trait: the uncompromising clarity of their actions. The printed condensed report was published in two different versions. Their colour scheme, in particular the highlighting of the photographs of the board, refers to the planned division of the group. Along with the full version of the annual report the publication is also accessible online and convinces with its strong authentic images and concise texts.
