Spatial Installation

Cloud Arbour

Back Download

Responding to the subject of the exhibition “The Un-known Cloud”, this installation offered visitors the opportunity to rest on, sit on and play with clouds. Featuring a continuous curve-surface swinging in the space, it adopted the appearance of clouds formed by the winds, exuding a soft and smooth atmosphere. It was developed according to the spatial design method “CuBetween Space Model”, which is founded on six different basic cutting principles. These principles allowed 54 kinds of “CuBetween” prototype units to be created, which can be assembled to form an ambiguous and continued space.
