Dandelion Mirror

The Dandelion Mirror is a physiological measurement device featuring non-contact sensor technology. The biosensor-based unit is able to measure a person’s temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure through a webcam and thus check on their current state of health. The health results are then presented on the surface of the mirror. Based on a complex fractal and recursive algorithm, the measured data are visualised in the shape of a “growing” virtual plant that mirrors each user’s health. The morphological plant image transforms itself according to the individual physiological data, thus assuming a different shape for each person.
