This book retraces 60 years of German history and world politics through the eyes of Germany’s newspaper BILD. The objective of this cooperation between the publishing houses Taschen and Axel Springer Verlag was to create a book that brings an “epoch back to life”. The 718 pages compile the weird headlines, bizarre news stories and spectacular photographs that captured important events between June 1952, when the first edition was published, and March 2012. The book features a newspaper format, comes in a cardboard box and boasts a carrying handle.
