The rhythm of Deutsche Bahn – the starting point for the newly developed audio concept – is syncopated, dynamic and invigorating. It is catchy and, above all, easily recognisable. The sequence of the notes D and B translates the figurative mark directly into audio and constitutes, in combination with the rhythm, the most important element of the new sound. Together, they form the DB sound logo, which appears at the end of all audio and audiovisual applications. The DB sound can also be used in films, for callers on hold and as a ringtone.
